Kawaii Kamakura

Posted on August 9, 2021

A few weeks ago we decided to do a little trip to Kamakura. We’ve found that we really like Kamakura, lots to do and easy to get to.

Our first stop was the Kamakura Owls’ Forest. We found this “forest” on the 3rd floor of a building in the middle of a shopping and restaurant street. It was basically a large room full of owls that you could pet and you could also enjoy a free drink from their vending machine. The owls were so cute and the boys did really good being so close to them.

After the owl forest, we stopped at a sticker shop called B-Side Label. This store had tons of stickers that were designed by a lot of different Japanese pop artists. Very unique and quality stickers here. We enjoyed browsing. We didn’t get any pictures here…sorry!

Last, we went to Sanrio Cafe. Sanrio is the company that created the kawaii characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody. The food was actually really good!

  • Jeffrey’s pick
  • Melon Soda
  • BLT
  • Meatball Sandwich
  • So kawaii

Then we walked back to the train to head home! It was a fun time.
